We have Contingency Recovery Team that holds drills to prevent from happening and expansion of disasters to environment.

Waste Material Management and Plans

‧Effective control, management and prevention of waste which could lead to environmental pollution according to its characteristic in order to prevent secondary pollution to the environment.

‧Set up separate collections for general and recyclable garbage and have the cleaning personnel perform a second check up during cleaning to ensure its implementation.

‧Set up leftover bucket and encourage colleagues to pour leftovers into the bucket after each meal to reduce garbage.

‧“General industrial waste” which cannot be recycled or re-utilized should be sent to qualified treatment plant for landfill disposal or incineration by qualified clearing and transportation institution or service provider.

‧Hazardous wastes which cannot be recycled such as waste IC should be sent to qualified treatment plant or institution for treatment once they are scrapped or the expiration dates are due in order to avoid secondary pollution or public hazard.

Energy Saving, Carbon Reduction Management and Plans

‧All of the employees are responsible for acting in compliance with the relevant energy conservation policies advocated by the Administration Office.

‧The office’s air-conditioning temperatures shall be set in the comfort range of 24 to 26 degrees Celsius if possible.

‧Implement the “Section-Based Responsibility Management System.” Based on each assigned section, switch off the lights not required for use, and develop the habit of switching off the lights at all times.

‧During the rest hours at noon, switch off each non-essential light to achieve energy conservation.

Safety and Sanitary Target and Achievements

‧Using safety and sanitary related regulations as fundamental to engage in safety and sanitary management.

‧Improve employee educational guidance.

‧Arrange employee health check up and operation environment determinations to monitor and control all potential risks relating to safety and sanitary in the working environment.

‧The prevention and management of contagious diseases are valued with great importance. Information regarding epidemic situation is collected on a regular basis then broadcasted internally to remind our colleagues the importance of sanitary while at home or during travel.

Workplace safety and healthy

‧The Company has established the “Safety and Health Working Rule” with which employees can comply when undertaking safety and health-related tasks. We also established an Occupational Safety and Health Committee that convenes quarterly meetings to review, inspect, coordinate, and offer suggestions regarding the organizational operation of labor safety and health related activities as well as improvement opportunities.

‧The Company takes into consideration results of environmental impact, safety, and risk evaluations, as well as regulatory requirements for environmental protection, labor safety, and fire prevention to establish an environmentally friendly, safe, and healthy workplace and ensure safe operating activities.

‧Environmental safety and health training is administered to new employees immediately after they report for duty. The training is aimed to increase the environmental awareness of our employees. In addition, we also provide necessary safety and health training to in-service employees and undertake environmental safety promotions at irregular interval to cultivate employees' emergency response abilities and safety concepts, thereby lowering the incidence of accidents caused by unsafe behavior.

‧In addition to training first aiders and regularly conducting first aid training, the Company periodically arranges operating environment inspections and employee health examinations. Subsequently, various types of health-promotion activities and environmental improvement plans are devised according to the final test results to improve employees' health conditions.

‧The Company invites doctors who specialize in occupational disease to provide onsite medical examination services, including treatment for occupational and general injuries and diseases, health consultations, and emergency treatments. During the service period, the doctors help employees establish health awareness and knowledge to cultivate their awareness for a healthy workplace.

Contingency Recover

‧To identify operation or places of accidents or emergencies due to personnel, equipment or unforeseeable disasters that may cause environment pollutions or personnel injuries.

‧The company has Contingency Recover Procedure 09-219-00 to govern preceding situations in order to reduce disaster damage, and prevent or minimize impacts on environment.

‧To conduct drills to test response procedures and make personnel familiar with response measures.
